Iceland - TreyWhite

My friend Ann standing on some twisted steel girders that were once part of a long bridge east of Mýrdalsjökull glacier. The bridge was destroyed in the flood caused by a sub-glacial volcanic erruption in the early 1990s. They've made a roadside memorial with some signs talking about the erruption and before and after pictures. The whole area is very flat, looking like it was scoured clean by the rushing water and boulders.
